About ICSOA

Mission statement

ICSOA (Indian Crescent Society of Australia) is committed to serving all Australians and Indian citizens, with a particular focus on Australian Indian Muslims. Our dedication is driven not by the pursuit of reward or recognition, but by the sincere desire to serve, seeking to please the Supreme Almighty Allah (One God). We embrace all individuals, regardless of creed, religion, color, ethnicity, or nationality, striving to foster unity, compassion, and mutual respect.

About ICSOA

India is home to the second-largest Muslim population in the world. Over the past few decades, Muslims of Indian origin in Australia have made significant contributions across various sectors, enriching the Australian landscape.

In 2016, ICSOA (Indian Crescent Society of Australia) was established by a group of Australian citizens of Indian origin. The organisation was formed with the aim of fostering the integration of Indian Muslims into both the broader Australian community and the wider Indian diaspora in Australia.

ISCOA serves as a federal networking platform that represents Indian Muslim migrants, facilitating their engagement and inclusion in Australian society. With nearly 120,000 Indian Muslims living in Australia, ICSOA plays a vital role in advocating for their interests and promoting cultural and social integration.
